Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH), 48-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Elgin advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Comets host Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to face the Rams in a Northwest Central match on Thursday, February 6.
