January 20, 2025: Mountain Top, PA 18707 The Hazleton Area Cougars bounced the host Crestwood Comets basketball squad by a final score of 77-45 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 outing, on Thursday, January 23. Hazleton Area will attempt to upgrade on its 17-0 season record. The Wolfpack come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Pittston (Pittston, PA).
The Comets (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Mountaineers come into the Wyoming Valley 1 outing with a 7-7 record.
