December 23, 2024: Hazleton, PA 18202 In Monday's league test, the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), by a score of 73-46.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Hazleton Area will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 67-43 non-league loss to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA).
The Comets (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record.
