The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) and the host Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ), observed St. Augustine Catholic's basketball team edge Desert Christian by a margin of 42-36.

The Wolves (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson (Benson, AZ). The Bobcats come into the 2A South challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Benson edged Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ), 60-11, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ) in a 2A South challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Desert Christian will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record.
