Rockledge Raiders (Rockledge, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Satellite Scorpions (Satellite Beach, FL), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rockledge upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Cocoa (Cocoa, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 22. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Cocoa won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bayside (Palm Bay, FL)

Next up, the Scorpions play the Titusville Terriers (Titusville, FL) in a 4A District 9 bout, on Friday, January 22. Satellite will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Terriers come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 59-40 non-league loss to West Shore (Melbourne, FL).
