The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting North Central Knights to 31 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandhills Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 25. Anselmo-Merna will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 48-30 non-league win over Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE). The Mavericks record now stands at 7-10.

The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record.
