Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Allegheny overwhelms Grove City
January 21, 2023: Wexford, PA 15090 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) and the visiting Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), saw North Allegheny's basketball squad wallop Grove City by a tally of 76-51.
With the victory, North Allegheny improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Shaler Area won 69-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Grove City will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 52-42 league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
