Georgia High School Basketball - Jefferson ripped by Rabun County
January 21, 2023: Jefferson, GA 30549 The Rabun County Wildcats basketball squad scored 59 points and limited the host Jefferson Dragons to 35 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
With the win, Rabun County upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA) to play the Indians in a A D1 Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Tallulah Falls won 58-54 in their recent league bout against Athens Christian (Athens, GA)
Next up, the Dragons play the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Bulldoggs go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 57-45 league win over Clarke Central (Athens, GA).
