North Dakota High School Basketball - New England fells New Salem
January 21, 2023: New England, ND 58647 New England Tigers (New England, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND), 46-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New England upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND) to clash with the Cougars in a B Region 7 bout on Monday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] lost 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND)
Next up, the Holsteins clash with the Garrison Troopers (Garrison, ND) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. New Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
