Nevada High School Basketball - Virginia City tops Oasis Academy
January 21, 2023: Fallon, NV 89406 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) and the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), saw Virginia City's basketball squad knock off Oasis Academy by a tally of 37-21.
With the victory, Virginia City improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Muckers travel to Loyalton (Loyalton, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Loyalton won 32-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)
Next up, the Bighorns play the Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Oasis Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 52-44 league win over Sage Ridge (Reno, NV).
