January 21, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), saw West Mesa's basketball squad overcome Farmington by a tally of 68-48.
With the victory, West Mesa improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Piedra Vista lost 50-49 in their recent non-league battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
The Scorpions (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Eldorado prevailed over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 58-53, in a league battle.
