Florida High School Basketball - Freedom bests Mount Dora

The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Mount Dora Hurricanes to 58 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Odyssey Charter School for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Freedom will play a Titans team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Montverde Academy White (Montverde, FL). The Titans record now stands at 2-15.

With the loss, Mount Dora falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Bears go into the game with a record of 13-5. Winter Springs won 56-50 in their recent non-league game against Faith Christian (Orlando, FL)
