In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting North Sand Mountain Bison basketball team scored a close 67-60 triumph over the Sylvania Rams.

The Bison (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 27-1 record. In their last contest, Spring Garden nipped Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 63-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Sylvania will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record.
