Kentucky High School Basketball - Berea topped by Corbin
January 22, 2024: Corbin, KY 40701 The Corbin Redhounds basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Berea Pirates to 61 in the Redhounds non-league victory on Monday.
The Redhounds now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg for a District 50 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Corbin will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 61-60 league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-8.
The Pirates (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Barbourville (Barbourville, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Barbourville was defeated by Pineville (Pineville, KY), 71-56, in a league contest.
