Friends Academy Quakers (Locust Valley, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clarke Rams (Westbury, NY), 69-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Friends Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Quakers travel to Woodmere Academy (Woodmere, NY) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Woodmere Academy won 80-66 in their recent league bout against Luther (Maspeth, NY)

Next up, the Rams confront the Lawrence Golden Tornadoes (Cedarhurst, NY) in a Section 8 VIII challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Clarke will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
