New York High School Basketball - Friends Academy crushes Island Trees

December 13, 2023: Levittown, NY 11756

Friends Academy Quakers (Locust Valley, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Island Trees Bulldogs (Levittown, NY), 65-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Friends Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Quakers travel to Bullis (Potomac, MD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Interstate Athletic challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Bullis won 63-58 in their recent non-league challenge against IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lawrence Golden Tornadoes (Cedarhurst, NY) in a Section 8 VIII challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Island Trees will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 66-35 non-league loss to Valley Stream South (Valley Stream, NY).
