New York High School Basketball - Island Trees tops Lawrence
January 19, 2024: Cedarhurst, NY 11516 Island Trees Bulldogs (Levittown, NY) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Lawrence Golden Tornadoes (Cedarhurst, NY), 50-39 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Island Trees improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign.
Next up, the Golden Tornadoes confront the Beach Channel Dolphins (Rockaway Park, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Lawrence will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 62-52 league win over John Adams (Ozone Park, NY).
