The Keota Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting B-G-M Bears to 57 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host English Valleys for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, January 23. Keota will battle a Bears team coming off a 76-20 non-league win over Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Bears record now stands at 9-5.

The Bears (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves come into the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Montezuma edged Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 47-41, in a league contest.
