The Douglas County West Falcon basketball team (Valley, NE), was overwhelmed 68-44 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE)

The Pioneers now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a C1 District 6 battle on Thursday, January 25. Fort Calhoun will confront a Eagles team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.

The Falcon (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record.
