South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto nips Southside
January 22, 2024: Williamston, SC 29697 Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), 59-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palmetto upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 5-11.
Next up, the Tigers play the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 58-44 league win over Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC).
