Spectators at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Fountain Hills Falcons (Fountain Hills, AZ) and the visiting Highland Prep West HORNETS (Avondale, AZ), saw Fountain Hills's basketball team crush Highland Prep West by a tally of 72-28.

The Falcons now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Highland Prep for a 2A Central bout on Friday, January 24. Fountain Hills will play a Heat team coming off a 76-41 non-league loss to St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ). The Heat record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Highland Prep West falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ) to play the Lions in a 2A West bout on Friday, January 24.
