The Gilbert Tigers basketball squad (Gilbert, AZ), was crushed 85-56 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ)

With the victory, Higley advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ) to meet the Black Hawks in a 6A Fiesta battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Black Hawks enter the battle with a record of 12-6. Williams Field lost 61-58 in their recent league battle against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)

The Tigers now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Mountain for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Gilbert will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 43-35 league win over Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 14-4.
