In Friday's league contest, the visiting Higley Knights basketball team scored a big 86-61 triumph over the Queen Creek Bulldogs.

The Knights (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Jaguars go into the 6A Fiesta contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Desert Ridge was trounced by Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ), 47-42, in a league contest.
