With the victory, Northtown advances its record to 3-7 on the year. The Pumas travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL) to meet the Cristeros in a Chicago Prep battle on Friday, January 24. The Cristeros enter the battle with a record of 6-8. Cristo Rey Jesuit won 48-42 in their recent non-league battle against Mansueto (Chicago, IL)
The Rough Riders now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Uplift for a Chicago Public - Blue North battle on Thursday, January 23. Roosevelt will meet a Titans squad coming off a 60-48 non-league win over DRW College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Titans record now stands at 9-1.
