Washington High School Basketball - Lummi overwhelms LaConner
January 23, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lummi Blackhawks (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting LaConner Braves (LaConner, WA), saw Lummi's basketball squad wallop LaConner by a tally of 66-36.
With the victory, Lummi improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Lopez (Lopez, WA) to play the Lobos in a 1B Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Lopez lost 81-43 in their recent league challenge against Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA)
Next up, the Braves play the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. LaConner will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 65-27 non-league win over Cedar Park Christian (Mountlake Terrace, WA).
