January 23, 2023: Canistota, SD 57012 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the host Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), saw Ethan's basketball squad wallop Canistota by a tally of 52-22.
With the victory, Ethan improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Rustlers host Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD) to confront the Golden Eagles in a B Region 3 challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Mitchell Christian lost 59-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Freeman (Freeman, SD)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Canistota will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 59-18 non-league win over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD).
