Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tri County Northeast Wolfpack (Emerson, NE), 45-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Walthill upgrades its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Blujays host Homer (Homer, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Homer won 53-24 in their recent non-league bout against Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Tri County Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Pendragons come into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 42-35 non-league win over Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE).
