Arkansas High School Basketball - Ozark topples Dardanelle
January 23, 2024: Ozark, AR 72949 In Tuesday's league outing, the Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR), by a count of 47-39.
The Hillbillies (19-10) will now prepare for their outing against Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Trojans go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 21-1 record. In their last outing, Subiaco Academy defeated Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 67-48, in a league outing.
The Sand Lizards now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, January 26. Dardanelle will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 55-45 league loss to Mena (Mena, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 5-17.
