Arkansas High School Basketball - Pottsville edges Dardanelle
February 1, 2024: Dardanelle, AR 72834 The Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR) basketball nipped the host Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR), 56-53 in Thursday's league test.
The Apaches (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras go into the 4A Region 4 test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Fountain Lake was tipped by Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR), 59-42, in a league test.
The Sand Lizards now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Mena for a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, February 2. Dardanelle will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 77-39 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-16.
