The Northeastern Eagles basketball team (Elizabeth City, NC), dropped 50-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

The Nighthawks now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Currituck County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Friday, January 26. First Flight will battle a Knights team coming off a 79-60 league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.
