The Camden County Bruins basketball team (Camden, NC), was toppled 61-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

The Nighthawks now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hertford County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Tuesday, February 6. First Flight will confront a Bears team coming off a 57-48 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bears record now stands at 13-6.

The Bruins (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles come into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Northeastern beat Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC), 57-48, in a league battle.
