Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) and the visiting John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA), saw Union's basketball squad knock off John Battle by a count of 58-38.

With the victory, Union upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24.
