Mount Calvary Christian Chargers (Elizabethtown, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host New Covenant Christian Flames (Lebanon, PA), 62-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mount Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Veritas Academy (Leola, PA) to play the Monarch in a Commonwealth Christian - Central bout on Thursday, January 25. The Monarch come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Veritas Academy lost 72-32 in their recent league game against Lancaster County Christian (Lancaster, PA)

With the defeat, New Covenant Christian moves to 8-6 on the year. The Flames travel to Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA) to face the in a Commonwealth Christian - West game on Friday, January 26. The enter the game with a record of 2-9.
