North Carolina High School Basketball - Rockwell Christian School tops Shining Light Baptist Academy
January 23, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) and the host Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC), saw Rockwell Christian School's basketball squad knock off Shining Light Baptist Academy by a tally of 56-42.
With the victory, Rockwell Christian School improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Chargers host Southview Christian (Statesville, NC) to play the Conquerors in a NCCSA A West Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Southview Christian won 60-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Scotland Christian Academy (Laurinburg, NC)
Next up, the Sharks play the Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Shining Light Baptist Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 68-33 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC).
