January 23, 2024: Edgerton, MN 56128 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) and the visiting Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons (Adrian, MN), saw Southwest Minnesota Christian's basketball squad wallop Adrian/Ellsworth by a tally of 75-54.
With the victory, Southwest Minnesota Christian improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN) to confront the Patriots in a A Section 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Hills-Beaver Creek won 53-39 in their recent league challenge against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN)
Next up, the Dragons confront the George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Adrian/Ellsworth will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 46-33 non-league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA).
