Indiana High School Basketball - Delta fells Monroe Central

Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 54-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Delta upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN) to clash with the Marauders in a Hoosier Heritage bout on Thursday, January 25. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Mt. Vernon won 54-19 in their recent league bout against New Castle (New Castle, IN)

Next up, the Golden Bears clash with the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) in a Mid-Eastern bout, on Thursday, January 25. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 61-39 non-league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN).
