The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team (Parker City, IN), was overwhelmed 52-16 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN)

The Bruins now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton Heights for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. Blackford will confront a Huskies team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Huskies record now stands at 12-2.

The Golden Bears (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Royals come into the Mid-Eastern battle with a 12-0 record.
