In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored a good 47-36 triumph over the South Adams Starfires.

In their next game, the Golden Bears meet the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 14. Monroe Central will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 10-2 record after their 62-55 non-league loss to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN).
