Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) and the host Union City Indians (Union City, IN), saw Monroe Central's basketball squad wallop Union City by a count of 64-33.

With the victory, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to play the Golden Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Winchester Community lost 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Delta (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Indians play the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 34-28 league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH).
