The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team (Parker City, IN), was toppled 61-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN)

The Knights now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jay County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 28. Northeastern will confront a Patriots team coming off a 60-53 league win over Woodlan (Woodburn, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.

The Golden Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Union City (Union City, IN). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Union City beat South Adams (Berne, IN), 44-41, in a non-league battle.
