In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lapel Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 46-35 triumph over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Hamilton Heights Huskies (Arcadia, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 19. Lapel will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record.

With the defeat, Monroe Central moves to 9-3 on the year. The Golden bears host Blackford (Hartford City, IN) to meet the Bruins in a non-league match on Monday, December 18.
