In Friday's non-league outing, the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), by a margin of 65-35.

The Bruins (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian smashed Garrett (Garrett, IN), 44-40, in a non-league outing.
