Louisiana High School Basketball - French Settlement overwhelms St. Helena College and Career Academy
January 23, 2024: French Settlement, LA 70733 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) and the visiting St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA), saw French Settlement's basketball squad wallop St. Helena College and Career Academy by a tally of 58-27.
With the victory, French Settlement improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA) to confront the Wolverines in a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 10-6.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a 2A District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 26. St. Helena College and Career Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
