Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), 74-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to play the Gators in a 6A Region 2 bout on Friday, January 26. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 8-16. Vicksburg won 47-28 in their recent league bout against Columbus (Columbus, MS)

Next up, the Titans play the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a 6A Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 26. Ridgeland will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-25 record after their 77-13 league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).
