Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), 81-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to play the Gators in a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 6-14. Vicksburg won 36-32 in their recent league bout against Columbus (Columbus, MS)

Next up, the Titans play the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a 6A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Ridgeland will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 102-9 league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).
