North Carolina High School Basketball - Falls Lake ripped by Franklin Academy
January 23, 2024: Wake Forest, NC 27587 The Franklin Academy Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds to 19 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Johnston for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Franklin Academy will meet a Panthers team coming off a 62-36 league loss to Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.
The Firebirds (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, East Wake Academy was routed by Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 35-34, in a non-league contest.
