Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA), 53-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Ripon advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to face the Yellowjackets in a Trans Valley League match on Friday, January 24. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 7-13. Hilmar won 60-48 in their recent league match against Hughson (Hughson, CA)

The Cougars now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orestimba for a Trans Valley League match on Friday, January 24. Escalon will face a Warriors squad coming off a 74-31 league loss to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-14.
