South Dakota High School Basketball - Hamlin triumphant over Redfield
January 23, 2025: Hayti, SD 57241 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) and the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), observed Hamlin's basketball team overwhelm Redfield by a score of 87-24.
The Chargers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Rapid City Christian was routed by Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD), 71-62, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pheasants encounter the Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Redfield will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 51-46 league loss to Webster (Webster, SD).
