December 13, 2024: Hayti, SD 57241 Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), 69-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hamlin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Chargers host Flandreau (Flandreau, SD) to face the Fliers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Fliers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Flandreau won 57-22 in their recent non-league match against Chester (Chester, SD)
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sisseton for a A Region 1 match on Tuesday, December 17. Groton will face a Redmen squad coming off a 60-31 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 0-1.
