South Dakota High School Basketball - Milbank toppled by Groton
January 23, 2025: Milbank, SD 57252 Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD), 58-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Groton advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD) to face the Cavaliers in a A Region 1 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 5-6.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florence/Henry for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Milbank will face a Falcons squad coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Langford (Langford, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 7-3.
